Advanced Storytelling Workshop 2010

Hey guys,

Please let me know if you’ve paid your $65 NPPA membership fees or if you intend to soon, in order to attend the Advanced Storytelling Workshop sessions next week. I participated in this last year and it’s a great networking opportunity! Professionals who attend this workshop have to pay around $800 to go to this, so $65 really is not bad at all 🙂

This coming Sunday, April 11 is the first day of the workshop. From 7-10 p.m. there will be a picnic (location still TBA…Professor Nolan is looking at Sewell Park probably). NPPA Txstate student chapter members will need to help serve the food to workshop attendees and clean up afterwards. Aside from that, you are free to eat/mingle. Pro photojournalists and videojournalists from all over the country will be here, as well as local journalists from the San Antonio Express-News…so to those looking for internships, this is a great place to be!

Please let me know about your membership status and if you’re able to help out with the picnic on Sunday. Thanks!
